I have been using drugs and alcohol for 13 years and have lost hope of ever being able to find longstanding recovery. I have lost 2 jobs, my marriage, and now my health is suffering. Because I can’t tolerate the reality of my situation, I continue to eradicate my feelings with my permanent companion – ALCOHOL.
